Vorthmann Limousin Herd Dispersal
Ann and I have made the difficult decision to disperse the Vorthmann Limousin cow herd after using Limousin genetics for more than 50 years. Our cow herd has been developed into high performing cattle, with superior eye appeal, and extremely good docility while maintaining moderate birth weights.
We have sold cattle into many leading herds across the country that have had great success. In the last few years, many bulls in the winning pens at Denver NWSS and spring sales were owned by Vorthmann Limousin or sired by bulls carrying the VORT herd prefix.
Females offered are bred to leading sires including VL National Treasure; RODZ Nuff Said, LFL Magic Man, DEBV McHammer and more. All bred females sell ultrasounded safe in calf with estimated calving dates.
Our 24th “FOCUS ON FAMILY VALUES” private treaty sale, Saturday, September 26, will include all the 2026 born heifers from the VORT and DEBV herds along with the VL dispersal as well as breds offered by DEBV.
