breed leading & improving females and we are very proud of the genetics we have

All bred females were ultrasound preg checked bred on July 31, 2026 by a certified ultrasound technician. Any questionable cows were rechecked on September 11, with calving due dates published. All bred females have received their pre-breeding vaccinations plus pinkeye & foot rot. All cows have registration papers with NALF and will be transferred to the new owner in a timely manner.

Private Treaty, 2026 Heifer calves were weaned August 1, 2026
They have had a series of 2 vaccinations with everything we can possibly vaccinate them for. They have been wormed with Dectomax injectable & poured at different times during the summer & treated with fly control & Ivermectin.
Heifers are calfhood vaccinated and have the proper ID tag.
Health papers are available. 2026 heifers are all broke to tie. All heifers are sold as guaranteed breeders by Vorthmann Limousin & DEBV and under the NALF policy.
Our Private Treaty Bidding Process All cattle will have a base price posted on September 20, 2026 on our website. Bids will be accepted at any time BUT no cattle will be sold till 2 pm September 26, 2026. Please call, text or email for a base bid sheet. The first person to bid claims the animal at the base price. Anyone else can raise the bids. Bids will be posted on the board so everyone knows if they are in or out. Bid increments will be $250. Silent bidding will close at 2 pm at which time the bid off starts. Open heifers sell first followed by bred females.
Bid Off Process will begin with the animal that has the highest valuation. Only persons who have placed a bid on that animal are allowed to bid. When that lot is sold the contending bidders have the opportunity to bid on another lot that has not yet been sold. Cattle will be sold in the order of the next highest value. Contending bidders can continue to move to a different lot as they are out bid. Our sale is laid back with Roger as the auctioneer he will give you time to bid if you are on the phone. If you are not at the sale and have placed a bid, please be available by your phone at 2 pm, If we can’t reach you by phone the cattle will be sold.

Payment: No cattle will leave the farm prior to payment being received or wired to our bank account. Since it’s a DISPERSAL we would appreciate all sale cattle to be picked up within 1 week of the sale. We would be happy to help arrange transportation for you if you so desire.
